Diving holidays

Most of the Maldives is below the water surface. It is therefore not surprising that the Maldives one of the world's leading dive sites are. At a water temperature of at between 27 to 30 degrees Celsius, the Maldives is the perfect place to experience the fascination of diving.
There are thousands of reefs, home to over 1000 species of fishes. Hundreds of hard and soft corals adorn the reefs in different colors. All dive sites have their own character and charm. The outer reefs of the atolls are the protective walls of the Maldives, they are solid and impenetrable. The flow channels through which the currents, interesting coral formations combine to bring ventilated walls, crevices and caves. Due to the large number of nutrients in the channels, divers can explore the caves and overhangs a lot of soft corals, invertebrates and sponges. Similarly, there are several canyons and steep slopes, the exciting promise dives.
A large number of different predators and reef inhabitants live in these areas in order to feed on the nutrient-rich water. Beyond the channels and within the atolls are Thilas which are wax rocks, emerging at the sea floor and end a few feet below the water surface and attract a large number of different sea creatures.

Diving Schools
Each resort in the Maldives has its own diving school, which is the size and range of her varied. However, they accept all the internationally recognized certificates that offer rental equipment and have trained, multilingual instructors. The diving schools offer year-round daily dive trips. All the dive boats are equipped with life jackets, flags, oxygen and first aid kit. For guests who want to learn to dive resorts offer all Open Water Diver and Advanced courses.
